Do you have something to share on the topics discussed on this site? The Gender Report welcomes guest posts on topics related to women or gender and journalism.
We look for timely and interesting write-ups on issues pertinent to our readers. Personal perspectives and commentaries are welcome. Possible subject areas include but are not limited to the experiences of female journalists, the representation of women or gender in the media, the treatment of issues of gender in news coverage or current events, and those who are working for change in these areas.
Proposed write-ups should be between 500 and 800 words, though we can be flexible on this. Submitted work should be your own and should follow accepted journalistic ethical guidelines (such as those by the Society for Professional Journalists).
Posts published on The Gender Report, in addition to being available on the site, are sent out to email subscribers as well as shared on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook.
If you are interested in writing a guest post or becoming a contributor, please send a brief description of your background and your proposed topic by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our best to respond to valid queries as quickly as possible.
